About Us

Young Guns Produce, Inc. is located at 1230 B. B. Romig Rd., five miles north of Hatch, NM. The company is a corporation, established in February of 1992. The principal owners are Christopher and Tammy Franzoy.

Young Guns Produce began initially as a small brokering company. Christopher Franzoy, (Chris) has always headed up the sales department, and has been at the desk since a young teenage boy. The company has evolved over the past ten years into one of the largest brokering and packing companies for onions and fresh green chile in the Hatch Valley. The company has markets throughout the United States and Canada. The company’s onion sales and quality have increased year after year. Major growth has been experienced in sales of Hatch Fresh Green Chile. Market . Additionally, the company has experienced highly increased sales in Pumpkins, Pinto Beans and Red Chile Pods.

Young Guns Produce operates from a 38,000 square foot warehouse, located at 1230 B. B. Romig Road off of New Mexico Highway 187. This warehouse is located approximately 5 miles from Hatch, New Mexico, known as "The Chile Capital of the World". This packing warehouse is serviced by major interstates I-25 and I-10, allowing easy access to national shipping points.

The warehouse is located in the heart of the Hatch Valley, allowing freshly harvested produce to be packed and shipped while the product is at its utmost peak quality. The packing shed includes two office complexes for precise monitoring and accounting procedures.

State-of-the-art equipment is absolutely critical to the growth and success of this company. Young Guns packs with the most modern consumer pack onion equipment, newly designed onion grading systems and modern chile grading systems. Efficient onion dryers will be utilized to maintain quality, as well as the use of Macro Bins.

The management team is headed by Chris Franzoy who also handles sales. Shane Roundy is Director of Retail Sales. Steve Dishneau administers the Transportation Department and Adolfo Serna assists in the Shipping Department. Cindy Sment, Controller and Teresa Pendley operate the Accounting Department.and pride themselves on customer service.
