The New Mexico State Police Association is comprised of commissioned and civilian personnel of the New Mexico State Police.

Retired personnel are considered non dues paying members of the Association as long as they were members before they retired.

The State Police Association started in 1985 as an organization with each individual giving donations to assist an officer who was involved in a shooting with legal assistance. It has evolved into a large group of State Police members that assist each other with legal assistance, scholarships for children, medical assistance and a lobbying organization that has a strong voice in the Legislative Session each year.

We are proud members of the National Trooper's Coalition and the Western States Trooper's Association.
