Price includes 2 hours with a graphic designer, 2 hours with a web coordinator and 1 hour of additional follow up with the person of your choice. Production meetings must be on Mon-Fri. 8am - 5pm. Each meeting has to be scheduled as entire chunks of time (you can not schedule a 1 ½ hour with the graphic designer on Monday and ½ hour on Tuesday. It must be a full two hour meeting.

*First year domain name included, upon availability ($20/domain/year thereafter **Additional meeting may need to be scheduled for a day other than your scheduled production day. All additional time must be pre-paid.

The following items will help in producing your website within the allotted time. If you do not have these materials with you at the time of your production meeting, then you could potentially go over on time and incur additional fees.

1. Sample websites - provide a list of three sample sites that you like. These sample sites can be from your industry or any website you like. Things to look for are color combinations and arrangement of content on the page.

2. Your logo- you will need to have a good copy of your logo. If you have it on your computer, you may e-mail it to Digital Solutions ahead of time. Remember, if we have to scan a logo from your business card, it usually takes about 10 minutes to scan, and clean up the logo before it can be used in the website. Having this done a head of time makes things run smoother.

3. Text content - this is probably the most important thing about your website. When providing text, it saves time if you have it typed out already and provide it in either an e-mail or Word document. If you bring in printed text materials, the time required to type out that text will be counted against your five hours.

Text tip: Try to include as many ‘keywords' in your text as possible. Key words are the things that you would expect someone to type in a search engine to find your website. For example, if you sell clothing, then some logical keywords to include in your text are clothing, shirts, pants, ties, custom clothing, brand name clothing, etc.

4. Photos- there are several ways you can provide photos to us for creation of your site. If you have products, it saves time if you have photos of the products already in jpg format (you can e-mail these to us in advance). Digital Solutions also has a subscription to a stock photography website located at photos.com. You may preview any of the images on that site and write down the number of the photo you would like to use. Bring in a list of those photo numbers and the graphic designer or web coordinator can download the images for you.

Photo tip- adding photos to a website can be quite challenging if the photos are not in the proper format or size. (if they are too large, they will make your website load really slow). Some people prefer to buy an additional hour of time and use it before the regular production meetings for ‘prepping of artwork'. During this meeting, a graphic designer will make sure your photos are the correct resolutions, format, and size for a website. This will save a lot of time during the actual production of your website.

5. Links- come prepared with a list of links that you would like customers to click to. Links are usually outside websites that customers can visit to learn more about a particular topic. Remember: if Digital Solutions has to re/type these links from a printed sheet of paper, it will count against your time.

6. Keywords- provide a list of keywords (at least 10) that should be used for the titles of your pages and in the ‘meta tags' of your website. Metatags are one of the things that search engines use to determine to display your website when people search for certain topics.

7. Domain name- choosing a domain name can be one of the hardest things to do when creating a website. Some people like to make it their business name, others like to make it something else. (if your company is called ABC clothing, you could buy a domain name that is ABCclothing.com or you could by totallyawesomeshirts.com). We recommend doing a search for available domain names prior to your production meetings. Websites like godaddy.com or networksolutions.com are great resources for this.

8. List of buttons- have an idea of the buttons you would like to see on the main navigation of the website. This helps in both the graphical layout of the site and the content management. Look at websites from competitors or similar industries to get an idea of what you would like to include in your site.

9. Artwork- if there are any other particular logos you would like to include on your site be sure to include them with your logo for the site. Examples of these are Chamber of commerce, better business bureau, clubs, awards, and even certifications.

The five hour website Referral System - once you have bought your Five Hour Website and it is live to the internet, you can refer other clients to Digital Solutions and receive credits towards additional hours of maintenance, search engine optimization, and graphical design. You will receive a ‘referral number' if you are interested in this program at your follow up meeting. When clients give us that referral number, they will receive $50 off the set up of their website and you will receive one hour of additional time (value $60).

There is no limit on the amount of people you can refer to Digital Solution's five hour website program.
